She attended Southern Methodist University for a year and a half before mustering the courage in a bar one night in 1985 to get up on-stage with a local band, the New Bohemians.     今ではポール・サイモンの細君としても知られるエディ・ブリッケルのデビュー作。けだるそうな歌声と優しく繊細なメロディーが見事に調和し、唯一無二の世界観を作り出している。彼女たちを世に知らしめたWhat I amの他、人気ドラマコールドケースの挿入歌としても話題となったCircleなど、個々の楽曲も非常に素晴らしく飽きの来ない名盤といえよう。
