マットデニス特集だ。曲がみんなブルーベックにあっている。アップテンポのレッツ・ゲット・アウェイ・フロム・イット・オールや、ウィル・ユー・スティル・ビー・マインはブルベックのスィング感一杯だし、 エンジェル・アイズやザ・ナイト・ウィ・コールド・イット・ア・デイなんてデスモンドの魅力たっぷり。今でも、ブルーベックの中では一番好きなアルバムだ。

ずっと、待ってた一枚です。好きだから、文句なしの曲目と演奏なんです。変拍子のテイク５で知って、以来、全てを聴いて集めたつもりだったのですが、このアルバムだけは手に出来なかったんです。 ＤＢ４は自分には緊張を解く 音楽でいつでも楽しめるオアシスのような存在なんです。きちんと音楽を勉強した四人がやっている気がして、お手本のような４です。後は[Ａｎｙｔｈｉｎｇ　Ｇｏｅｓ]を待つばかりなんです。
