2001年にリリースした5thアルバム『Wake Up and Smell the Coffee』を最後に、04年に行ったライヴをもって無期限の活動休止をアナウンスしていたCranberries。

バンド休止後、ヴォーカルのDolores O'riordanはソロ活動でアルバムを2作品を発表し話題となりましたが、09年、Cranberriesは急遽オリジナル・メンバーで再結成ライヴを敢行！
さらに、2011年に入ってからは、通算6枚目となるオリジナル・アルバムの制作をスタートさせ、いよいよ来年2月、待望のニュー・アルバム『Roses』をリリースすることとなりました！

気になるその中身は、Cranberriesのアルバムの中でも傑作といわれる1st(UKチャート1位)、2nd(全英2位、全米6位)、5thを手掛けてきたスティーヴン・ストリート（ザ・スミス、ブラー、カイザー・チーフス）が再びプロデューサー手掛け、トロントとロンドンでレコーディング。
すでにウェブ上では新曲の「Tomorrow」も公開され、往年のポップ〜オルタナティヴなクランベリーズ・サウンドが大復活したサウンドで、早くもファンの間で話題となっています！
