今作品集は、サイドワークを取り上げた今までとは趣が異なる作品だが、とても意義があると思う。この作品の内容だが、今では他のアーティスト同士が共演することはごく自然に行われているが、90年代はあんまり行われていなかった。佐藤竹善やその他の一部のアーティストしかやっていなかった。コラボレーションをすることや、他のアーティストとのライヴ演奏で共演することはやはり実力が試されると言うこと、そしてお互いの人柄や実力を尊敬し合う気持ちが大切だと思う。それらの事を踏まえて、カバーもそうだが佐藤竹善と言うアーティストは先駆者なんだと思う。ここに収録されている物はほんの一部であり、コーラス参加なんかも含めるとどれだけの作品が有るのか把握仕切れない。このシリーズが次はどんな物になるかは解らないけど、カバーだけに拘らず今回のような売り方、作品を是非続けていってほしい。もちろん、願わくは作品が沢山の人の耳に届けばと思うけど

Collaboration=Coloverationという言葉のセンスが素晴らしい。SLTの名曲Spirit of loveの世界を佐藤竹善が見事に別世界を構築してくれました。サビ以外は詞もメロディーも全く別世界でして、これはこれで良いと思いました。ただ、ソロでなくてSLTでやれば良いんじゃないのかなと少し思ったわけで。曲を再構築というか新たな形にするのは嫌いじゃないんですが、SLTの曲だし竹善さんが中心でやられたとしても、三人の関わりでやってくれたらスッキリしたのになぁ…。カバー曲の雪の華はさすがの一言。徳永さんや中西さんとはまた違った世界を作ってくれています。ライヴのきっと何時の日かはホントにいつ聴いても素晴らしいですね。観客の歓声がまた素晴ら
