キャロル・キングの作品の良さは誰もが認める星５つなのでそのような評価をしました。が、しかしこの商品が星５つに相当するのかは難しいです。紙ケースに紙ジャケ５作品、ただそれだけで、外装ケースの曲目は一部間違っているし、ブックレットやレア写真なども無いためか物足りなさを感じます。（価格も仕様に対してそれほどお得感がある訳ではないし）ファンの方は既に各アルバムを所有しているでしょうし、これからキャロル・キングを聴いていこうというリスナーがどれだけ購入するのかわかりませんが、拡販のためならファンが喜ぶようなレアトラック、未公開写真、新しいライナーとかを含めて発売してほしいようにも思えます。そうは言いながらもアルバムを眺めながら曲を聴いていると気持ちが安らいで、やはりキャロル・キングはいいなぁと思ってしまいます。

　Paul McCartney ＆ Wings の『At The Speed Of Sound』やStevie Wonderの『Journey Through The Secret Life Of Plants』、Earth Wind ＆ Fire の『Faces』など、必ずしも高い評価を得ていない、野球で言えば８番バッター、トラック競技で言えばリレーの第３走者のような存在のアルバムというのがあります。　決して、渇いた心を潤すオアシスでもなければ、冷たい身体を温めてくれる太陽でもない、むしろ、吹いているのかさえ分からないほどの微かにそよぐ風…、といった感じのアルバムなのですが、そんな心地よいそよ風に当たっていたい気分の時に、地味ながら、しっかりとした仕事をしてくれます。　気の置けない友人との会話のようにリラックスできる「Come Down Easy」に始まって、柔らかい羽根布団にやさしく包まれているような「Been to Canaan」まで、控えめながら、ちょうどいい空気感の穏やかな楽曲が並んでいます。
