2003年に結成された、ニューヨークで活躍するブラジル人によるピアノ・トリオ。ドゥドゥカ・ダ・フォンセカとニルソン・マッタはTrio Da Pazでも活躍するリズム・セクション。2009年にリリースされた前作『Forests』はデビュー作でありながら、グラミー賞ラテン・ジャズ部門にノミネートされる、という快挙も成し遂げた。本作は勿論同じメンバーにて、レア・ブラジリアン・クラシックやオリジナル・チューンをプレイ。お気軽なボサノヴァ路線に走ることなく、メインストリーム・ジャズをしっかりと踏襲した上で、ブラジル気質なリズムを自然に挿入する、真の実力派だけが成しえるサウンドがここにある。
