アンチェルはそうラッキーな道を歩いた様には思えない指揮者でスメタナ「わが祖国」オンリーのイメージがありましたがさにあらず・・私は本盤に入っている二重協奏曲と交響曲第2番のカップリングのCDでアンチェルのブラームスを聴いており第2交響曲の方は余計な寄り道をしないで曲の本質に迫った演奏かと思っております。個人的な盤歴なのですがバッハの弦楽作品で忘れられないアーティストにスークとナヴァラがいるのですがこれらの二人が並んで協演している1963年収録の二重協奏曲は両者のタッチには正直違いはあるものの私にとっては貴重なアンチェル参加のブラームスとして重宝します(タイムは①16’40②7’10③8’44となっております)、地味ですが素晴らしい盤です。
