ヒット曲集を思わせる寄せ集め的な印象もあるが、彼が優秀なヒットメーカーである事がよく判る作品だと思う。前作とは何もかも大違い、前作「ナイロンカーテン」は売り上げが今一つだったが本作はシングル共々大ヒットとなった、流行を取り入れ大衆向けに転じたが、この展開は如何なものか、ファンとしては恐らく二分、個人的には「ナイロンカーテン」の心意気で創り続けて欲しかった。

彼のルーツミュージックと言っているモータウンをはじめとする懐かしくも新しいアメリカンポップ！ビリーってこんな音楽もやるんだ！って衝撃が走ったアルバム。 Blue-specＣＤでアナログで聴き込んだしっかりしたサウンドが蘇りうれしい限り。
