’59年の録音だけど、古きを温ねて、新しきを知る。劇情の音楽家ミュンシュの、懇切丁寧でスケールの大きい、ベルリオーズの激情のレクイエム。聴けば、耳から離せなくなる、悪魔的魅力を放つ音楽。これでなくちゃ、決定盤。

演奏については文句の付けようがない名演。問題は音質だ。昔持っていたＬＰは大音響の時、音が割れたが、このSACDはそういうことはかなり改善され、良好だ。
