シノ―ポリと言う人は、脳医学者、心理学者、つまり、人間に興味を強くもった頭の切れる人だったのだ。それだけの知力、知性ある人間が、音楽に価値を見出し、情熱を持って、最も録音、公演をするオケと伝統の美音を持つ優秀なオーケストラの人々と共に、或いは率いて、どのような音楽にも体当たりで、常にドラマチックな音楽を紡ぎだしていたのは、様々言われていたけれども、残されたものを、見、聴きすれば、貴重な、感嘆させられる偉業と、言うべきものだ。ここにも、若い情熱をもった日本の才女と、熱いもの、人を動かそうとする音楽を、本当に見事に導いている。もっと、生きて、私達に、糧となるものを伝えて欲しかった。

この『ルル』にはハマりました。指揮者とオケ、歌手たちの作品に対する共感、陶酔が、なかなか悪くない録音を通してびんびん伝わってくる。ローテンベルガーはモーツァルトなどよりこちらの方が断然いいと思いましたし、男声陣も性格描写が強烈でおしなべて高水準。まあしかし何と言っても作品がすばらしすぎますね。
