「インヴェンションとシンフォニア」の鳴りきらない（おそらく意図的）ピアノの音になぜか強くひきつけられます。今回のリマスターは、十数年前にリリースされたグレン・グールド・エディションシリーズのディスクよりもはるかに音が良くなっています。
