アレッサドロ・ビアンキ、いかにもイタリアな名前のピアニストの作品。急速調の“イスラエル”に一瞬、驚きを感じるオープニングから、リリカルなメロディながら原曲を悟られないようなイントロで始まる“星影のステラ”。意外に我が強そうなピアニストだ。⑦の軽やかさが本来の持ち味か。ヴィヴァルディ音楽院卒業。いま人気のロベルタ・ガンバリーニのバックを2年間勤め、フランク・ダドレアに師事した。1990年からはミラノのギタリスト、Luca Zamponiのバンド“Good Stuff”のメンバーに参加した。
本作のほかの「Somethinglikeatrio」名義の作品として『Somethinglikeatrio with Tino Tracanna / Something More』が発表されている。
