Casa Groove

Guitarist Al Gomez is referred to as one of the most versatile guitarist in Texas. His playing includes the styles of tejano, country, rock, r&b, jazz, and funk. Some of Al's influences are Marcos Mendoza (childhood friend), Carlos Santana, Eric Clapton, Brent Mason, Buddy Guy, Robert Cray, and Larry Carlton. 'Casa Groove' is Al's first solo CD on Shade Records. The r&b influenced CD contains tunes he grew up listening to as well as his original compositions. Casa Groove is an energetic CD packed with smooth guitar playing and great vocal harmonies; all from the funky sounds of Al Gomez!
