QUEENS OF THE STONE AGEの00年発表の2nd(メジャー･デビュー作)で､3rdアルバム『Songs For The Deaf』と並ぶ､誉れ高き名盤です ロックン･ロール､ストーナー､ポップ､サイケ等､あらゆる音楽を雑多に飲み込んだ､危険な香りのする楽曲はどれも質が高くて中毒性が高く､ジョシュの才能の非凡さを感じさせられる完璧な作品です 本作から参加した､ベーシストのニックも持ち味を存分に発揮し､『Autopilot』のような屈指の名曲を披露 同じく本作から参加のマークも『In The Fade』で名唱を聴かせ､両者ともにQOTSAに大きな貢献をしています 盟友クリス･ゴスが､制約無用の多彩な音楽嗜好を持つジョシュの才能を引き出しているのも忘れてはいけません 日本盤もボーナス･トラックが付いていますが､レア曲が3曲聴ける『Feel Good Hit Of Summer』のCDシングルと同内容のボーナスCDが付いているUK盤が激オススメです
