With indie pop growing all over Sweden in the mid-'90s, Kent became one of the biggest Swedish bands during that decade. Kent was formed in Eskilstuna in 1990, when singer/songwriter Joakim Berg and lead guitarist Sami Sirvio met at school. En Plats I Solen-
前回のアルバムから８ヶ月目という、誰もが予期しなかったゲリラアルバム。前回のエレクロトサウンドは若干控えめの、ギターをフィーチャーした曲が目立つ。印象的には３rdの「Isola」あたりか。お奨めはT２、５、１０。スリーブがまさに「夏」、それもそのはず、発売翌日にサマーツアーを開始。北欧をくまなく回った結果、Rockbj＆ouml;rnenアワードでベストライブアクトに選ばれる。ちなみに彼らは結成２０年もたっているのにライブアルバムを１枚たりとも出していないバンド。日本のファンの皆様、機会があったら是非こちらに来て見てください！

Tillbaka Till Samtiden -
私は最初に『ＩＳＯＬＡ』を聴きましたが、よりポップでダンサブルな明るいイメージに仕上がっているな。と思いました。北欧らしさはそのままですね。おしゃれです。シンセが耳に心地よくボーカルの声が柔らかくて素敵です。 お気に入りは3曲目のｉｎｇｅｎｔｉｎ。サビの転調部分がきれいですね。
