Capitol Punishment-The Megadeth Tears- -
Megadeth入門者用のベスト盤として使命は、十分に果たしていると感じる。彼らの歴史をCD1枚に凝縮することに無理があるので、全てのファンの期待に応えるものとすることが難しいのである。初期Megadethと比較し、キャッチーな楽曲群も増えてきていることから、それらをカヴァーして収録する必要があると思うが、やはり、“Crush ’Em”や“Use The Man”、“Almost Honest”、“Trust”などの楽曲は収録すべきだったのか・・・とジレンマが残る。発売当時、未発表曲であった①の“Kill The King”と②“Dread ＆ The Fugitive Mind”が凄く魅力的なだけに、それに続く③～⑥の流れが何とも惜しいものであると感じる。“Skin ’O My Teeth”、“High Speed Dirt”、“Tornado Of Souls”、“Hook In Mouth”、“Angry Again”、“Architecture Of Aggression”、“She-Wolf”などコアな魅力を伝える楽曲群やカヴァー・ソングとは言え、“Anarchy In The UK”などのパンキッシュな魅力的な曲もあったんですけどねぇ～～～♪やはり、愚痴になってしまいました・・・スミマセン!!でも、最初に記したように、Megadethってどんなバンドで、どんな曲をプレイするのだろう???という気持ちで、試しに聴いてみたいな・・・というこれからの方には、断然お薦めです★彡

Endgame -
「ヘッド・クラッシャー」の間奏部にグッときて、購入しました。正直、期待外れ。一曲一曲の個性が無く、とっチラかった印象です。それがメガデスっぽいちゃあメガデスっぽいけろ～。。。 音質ではなく、全体的にヘヴィじゃないな。「４４ミニッツ」は良い雰意気でしたが…。
