Raisin Hell -Remaster -
彼の出発点は、ブルースですが私は当時サザーンロックそれもキャプリコーンレーベルを主に集めてたときに彼を知りました。このライヴアルバムは、その時代の総集編的な作品です。現在は原点に戻って又、ブルースを遣っているみたいですが、私はこの時の彼の方が未だに好きです。サザーンロックそしてキャプリコーンの全盛期でしたね。

Feel It -
昔、映画「フィルモア最期の日」で一番カッコ良かったのがエルビンビショップだった。LP版ではフィルモアレーベルが燦然輝いていました。ゲストのポインターシスターズ、サンタナのコンガを叩いている人が影響しあってこのアルバムにしかない、ブルーズ、ソウル、ラテンの入り混じった不思議な「熱い」音楽を展開しています。名盤と思います。ピグボーイならではのタメの効いたギターフレーズも痺れます。
