Stanley Turrentine

兄のトミー・タレンタインとニューヨークに昇ったスタンレイは中央にデビューする。1959-60年にはマックス・ローチのグループに在籍しレコーディングを経験する。スタンレイ自身もタイム・レーベルに初リーダー作『Stan The Man Turrentine』を残している。ジミー・スミスのバンドに加入し、『Midnight Special』の吹込みに参加し、ついにブルーノートと契約『Look Out』『
