2014 remastered first time on CD reissue of the 1985 Album, released by Chicago's Smoke City on the Epic label. The album's second single Dreams which became a lush, gorgeous ballad. Although the album was very romantic and sexy, there was the addition of some straight up Funk with the Minneapolis-inspired Time to Jam. The vocals contained within Smoke City are interesting too; Bee Starr, the female lead, had a beautiful vocal tone while the male lead, Daveon Overton, offered a strong, gritty and energized delivery. A really unusual combination, however, it paid off with great results.
