Music To My Dreams

Sarah has been using music and songwriting as a creative outlet since she was very young. The first song she ever wrote dates back to 1997, when she was six-years-old. About ten years later, she started writing songs every night and learning how to play guitar. Since then, she has also taught herself how to play the mandolin and the ukulele. Writing songs has become her greatest passion in life. She writes about anything and everything she sees, hears, feels, experiences, or imagines... so music is quite literally her world. After building up a repertoire of songs, she finally recorded her first album, Music to My Dreams. It is named after track 5 on the album, but it is also the general theme of her songs and her musical journey. She wrote all of these songs in her bedroom, in her dorm room, or on her couch. All by herself. She scribbled down these lyrics with a purple pen into a beat up old notebook. She came up with these melodies while strumming the same trusty guitar she has had since high school. When she finally got into a studio to record these creations, she delivered the lyrics and melodies with as much honesty and pure story-telling she could muster up and communicate.
