Digitally remastered two-fer containing a pair of albums by the country outfit on one disc. This release features the band's first two albums for new label Warner Bros, originally released in 1984 and 1985. Both albums spent nearly a year each on the Country charts. 'Long Hard Road' and 'Modern Day Romance' were Country # 1 hits. The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band has had many changes in personnel since their inception, but John McEuen, Jeff Hanna, Jimmie Fadden and Bob Carpenter are still performing together.
