Nina Simone

　ニーナ・シモン、本名Eunice Waymonは、1933年2月21日にノースカロライナ州、トライロンに生まれた。7人兄弟の6番目に生まれたニーナは4歳からピアノを弾き始め、彼女の才能にほれ込んだ周囲のバックアップを得て、クラシック音楽のトレーニングで有名なジュリアード音楽院に進学した。しかし、貧しかった家族を助ける為ニーナは、1954年にはアトランティック・シティのアイリッシュ・バーで初めて音
