商品説明

This album, originally released in 1975, is the first recording of the man who wrote, 'The Scotsman,' (used as the original theme of the Dr. Demento radio show) and 'Leon McDuff,' used by the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band as a theme song for the first Farm Aid concert. On this recording you'll hear a blend of original Appalachian style songs and traditional fiddle tunes as well as a couple of original acoustic blues numbers. Some of the songs are funny, some are sweet and all of them capture the feel of a typical weekend night at the Endangered Species Tavern in Chapel Hill, NC, circa 1973. That's where Mike Cross first started playing his songs and telling his stories. If you were there, you'll enjoy reliving the memories; if you missed it here's a chance to smell the smoke, hear the songs and feel the warm spirit of those good times.
