Kalima were formed in late 1983 from the ashes of the Swamp Children whose sole album was reissued by LTM earlier in 2004. Purveyors of smooth Latin jazz & funk flavors the band released three superb albums on Factory between 1986 & 1990 & earned widespread respect for their vaulting ambition & commitment to forms.
