The late John Fahey is one of the greatest steel guitarists of the 20th century. As a composer, musicologist and performer and he had few peers. Fahey almost singlehandedly created a new style and genre of acoustic music for solo guitar, in which 1920s and 1930s blues traditions collided with post-WWII classical music.
