別テイク２曲を追加収録し、「Africa Brass」セッションをコンプリートに収録したＣＤ２枚組のアルバム。このアルバムのプロデューサーがクリード・テイラーだということは意外に忘れ去られている。しかし、耳を傾ければ、テイラーの持つ、ミュージシャンの資質のコマーシャルな部分を上手く抽出する手法が見え隠れする。

もちろん、コルトレーンは全開である、一点の曇りもなく完全燃焼するジョンにお姿勢はテイラーさえ、かすんで見えさせる。
