This 27 track compilation contains the work of clarinetist Jimmy O'Bryant. These Paramount cuts date from 1924-26, and his red hot single Red Hot Mama from 1924 is included, as well as Drunk Man's Strut and Washboard Blues. Tracks 1-20 were played by O'Bryant's Washboard Band, and tracks 21-27 were played by O'Bryant's Famous Original Washboard Band. Features Jimmy Blythe, Jasper Taylor, Ruth Coleman, Bob Shoffner and others.
