Ladies and gentleman, this is the captain speaking: we are now crossing a zone of turbulence, please sit on your seats and fasten your seat belt. On the edge since 2003, Flight 404 has consolidated their membership on 2005. All over these years they've never stop playing their favorite styles, the reggae and the rock steady. Strictly following the line left by the Barrett brothers under different names (Hippy Boys, Upsetters, Harry J All Stars, Wailers...) they do the reggae as it was born in Jamaica at the sixties. They also take their influences from the fabulous vocal trios of what they like to call pre-reggae. That rock steady from late 68' where you can start to feel the vibes and rhythm patterns of reggae. They have been touring allover Europe during 2007 with great succes. Their only recording up to date was a limited single released by the German fanzine Big Shot which is already a collect item on the eBay. Their audience has been acclaiming some new stuff to feed their souls and the waiting is over now with the release of Trip To Moon, their brand new labum. It is a record full of shades, with that Flight 404's warm brewed brand. Thirteen original tracks plus an incredible cover song is the result of a hard year of writting and recording by the F404 crew in their own studio: 'The Kinkylab'.
