This 17-song set (previously an import only title) rediscovers the band's original sound and includes 6 songs not on 1985's singles album (Catching Up with Depeche Mode), including their 1st recording with original member Vince Clarke on vocals. This release follows the band's successful U.S. and U.K. tour at the end of 1998 and the release of the Singles 86 98. M1～M3のｳﾞｨﾝｽ時代､M4～M6のｳﾞｨﾝｽ脱退後､M7～のｱﾗﾝ加入後と音の変化をこのｼﾝｸﾞﾙ集で聴き取れます｡特にM6が終わってM7が始まる時は､音がｸﾞｯと厚みを増しいつもﾄﾞｷﾄﾞｷ｡ｵｽｽﾒはｵﾘｼﾞﾅﾙｱﾙﾊﾞﾑ未収録のM14｢SHAKE THE DISEASE｣｡冷たさと温もりが同居したDMｻｳﾝﾄﾞ､ｲｲですよ
