We are proud to present a vinyl gem for the first time on CD. The Eighth Pillar was the first full-length Con-Dom release. The CD is inspired by the life, writings and example of British author and man of action T.E. Lawrence - an enigmatic outsider who lived a tortured odyssey of physical and spiritual extremes in search of his own personal faith. The name of the CD derives from his book called The Seven Pillars of Wisdom. with these recordings, Mike Dando, the man behind Con-Dom, set high standards in a genre that was just starting to arise. The powerful sounds and his strong voice give a good impression on how torturing the life of Lawrence must have been. Con-Dom explores every kind of social tension and control: political, religious, radical... with an acidic, violent and uncompromising attitude. He is well-known in the industrial scene for his furious ravaging vocals and the devastating live performances, in which he turns into a real stage animal..
