British soul funk group The Brand New Heavies have enjoyed a 20 year career to date, and have sold over 3 million albums and had many hit records, including NEVER STOP, DREAM COME TRUE and STAY THIS WAY. LIVE IN LONDON is their first ever live album release, recorded at Indigo2 in London in front of a sell out crowd and subsequently mixed. It contains all their hits, is 1.5 hours long and is a 2 CD digipack package. The live album release is a curtain raiser for a lengthier campaign into a new studio album release in mid 2010. for the first time in the US, it is being released on their own TBNH label.

acid jazzムーブメントの時からずっと聞いているけど、最近のブランニューのほうが実は好きで、かっこいい曲が多いと思うんですが、大半の人はあの時代の方がいいんでしょうね。全盛時代の選曲てんこ盛りで、昔のファンはうれしいと思います。当時はライブの評判がすこぶる悪かったようですが、ずいぶんうまくなってるんではないでしょうか。改めて聞きなおすと初期の曲はずいぶんキャッチーだなぁって感じ。次は最近の曲の構成で是非ライブアルバムを出して欲しいです。
