Well Git It! - Bobby Byrne And Sy Oliver All Star Orchestras - This CD features two different bands, but both with an all star alumni of top jazz musicians such as Charlie Shavers, Doc Severinsen, Pee Wee Erwin etc. The link between these two bands is the cross over of several of the personnel. For instance Bobby Byrne is featured leading his own all star orchestra but he also appears playing trombone with the Sy Oliver Orchestra. Noted trumpeter and bandleader Charlie Shavers also performs with both Orchestras. The CD includes great song hits from the swing era.
