Telson is an American composer, songwriter and pianist best known for his works in musical theater and film for which he has received Tony, Pulitzer and Academy Award nominations. You may know him by the soundtrack for the movie Bagdad Cafe, including the leit motiv song of the film, Calling you. His songs have been recorded by Barbra Streisand, Natalie Cole, George Benson, Joe Cocker, Celine Dion, Caetano Veloso, and Gal Costa. In this, his first solo album, Telson performs some of his favorite songs. Album features special guest Wynton Marsalis.
