70年代のアメリカンロックを語るうえで、外せないライブアルバムですね。 日本では、あまり人気が出なかったバンドでしたが、通の間では評価が非常に高かったバンドと記憶しています。 ポップで、メロディアス、R＆B、ブルースのサウンドをブレンドした音楽性は素晴らしい一言です。バンド名で、聞く前に敬遠することなく、聞いてもらえば、その素晴らしさが分かると思います。このバンドもスタジオミュージシャン上がりの人たちが中心となって、たしか、結成されたバンドでした。ジャンルはちょっと違いますが、音楽に対する探究心、サウンドクリエーターぶりは、日本で大人気を博したTOTOに類似していると思います。
