Even they are not keen on their name in the post 9.11 world, but when they were formed, Anthrax was the word that perfectly described what they were doing. They would eventually rise to become the East Coast's premier thrash metal band, alongside Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer. in 1991, they followed Aerosmith's lead and brought in Chuck D of Public Enemy to record Bring the Noise in a major merger of rock n rap. 彼等のベスト盤にしては珍しく”GUNG-HO”...

彼等のベスト盤にしては珍しく”GUNG-HO”が入っている。MADHOUSEやBRING THE NOISEといった有名曲が入ってこの値段は安い。そこからオリジナル作を聴いていくのも悪くはないかも。

Anthrax

アンスラックスはニューヨーク拠点とするヘヴィ・メタル・バンド。1984年にアルバム「FISTFUL OF METAL」でデビューを果たし、彼らと同時期に登場した西海岸出身のメタリカやスレイヤーやメガデスらと共に、“スラッシュ・メタル”あるいは“スピード・メタル”と呼ばれる新たなスタイルの確立に貢献した。
