Limited Edition Double CD digipack. Kicking off with 'The Best Of Helsinki Vampires' a 28 track 2 CD retrospective of The 69 Eyes last 7 studio albums, stretching from their third studio album, 'Wrap Your Troubles In Dreams' - which is represented here by the album's title track - through to 'Tonight', 'Red', 'Love Runs Away' and Borderline' from the aforementioned 'X'. The trouble I have with albums like this is as soon as you put BEST OF in the title I immediately start to look for my own personal favourite tracks for the band being bested, and for me how songs like 'Angels' and 'We Own The Night' can be excluded from the tracklisting is frankly beyond comprehension. Still each to their own I guess, and and I sadly wasn't to compile this release what I can confirm however is that you still get the amazing 'Lost Boys', 'Perfect Skin' and 'Never Say Die' and 'Dead N' Gone' all bonafide modern day classics of the goth/glam genre, and all guaranteed to have you once again howling at the moon after just a few plays.
